How to ORDER your perfect icelandic wool sweater, step by step?

What is worth knowing before ordering

Where to look for wool colors?

I use one type of plotulopi wool. This is original Icelandic wool produced here on site: Istex. It can be purchased at local stores.
You can find all colors here below on the manufacturer’s website. Please remember, however, that sometimes not all colors or their shades may be available. So prepare yourself some color options.

Where to look for patterns?

I have lots of designs waiting to be made. The ones I made can be found on my website HERE. You can also find patterns on Pinterest. Or on the Lopidesign website HERE. Some of these patterns are paid. But I have some of them. But, not worry, I have many designs available.

STEP 3. CHECK SIZES

On the graphics, you can check sizes

Remember that these are indicative data. The sweater is measured on an ongoing basis, but after washing the dimensions may differ slightly – by 2 or 3 cm.

Of course, you can also provide your own dimensions. However, remember that sweaters over 50 cm long, measured from the armpit, may be more expensive.

STEP 4. wait around two weeks...

The average waiting time for a sweater is about 2-3 weeks. Depending on if I have any other orders. In short: The sooner you order, the better. This will allow me to plan my work and you will be sure that you will get your sweater.

Why you should become an owner handknitted by me original Icelandic sweater?

Because my sweaters are:

Handmade

Each woolen sweater is handmade, sewn and processed by me. The sweater is made with attention to every detail. That's why it takes me at least 2 weeks to create them.

Unique

I guarantee you, there is no one else has exactly the same sweater as yours. Not only because the hooded sweaters are unique. But my handmade wool sweaters are impossible to replicate.

Extra Warm

Icelandic wool is very warm. I use plotulopi wool. It resembles streaks of dense threads, not one thick thread. You can even see delicate threads on the sweater. This wool is the fluffy and - as I said - very warm.

Slow life

I support the idea of slow life. The sweaters are made carefully and slowly. I use natural wool. And my sweaters are durable and well made. If you take care about them, tey will stay with you forever.

Eco

I use original Icelandic wool called plotulopi. This is a local product, available in the store, on site. Just moments earlier, she was wrapping her arms around Icelandic sheep walking in the mountains.
