Welcome to my blog!
See my Iceland
Do you want to know more about me, Wool sweaters from Iceland or Iceland? Here you go.
I have been living in Iceland for several years. During this time I visited most of the country. I have hundreds of photos on my computer’s hard drive. Many of them are truly unique.
I guess it’s high time they saw the light of day. For me it will also be a nice adventure and an opportunity to remember the places I have visited. And those to which I willingly return.
Iceland is an unusual country. With beautiful nature. But also cruel. Summers are beautiful. But winters can be difficult. Windy and no sun. Icelandic depression is a common problem not only for emigrants, but also for native Icelanders.
It is no coincidence that so many of them seek the sun outside the country. There are regular Icelandair flights to Tenerife – the favorite destination of the island’s inhabitants. And believe me, planes flying to Tene are never empty.
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society where none intrudes, By the deep Sea, and music in its roar: I love not Man the less, but Nature more, From these our interviews, in which I steal From all I may be, or have been before, To mingle with the Universe, and feel What I can ne'er express, yet cannot all conceal. "Childe Harold's Pilgrimage"

Everything here is unique
This island also raised tough people. A bit different than the inhabitants of Europe. Individualists. Unique artists. People who made the saying Þetta Reddast, i.e. “everything will work out”, their life motto. And they believe it.
Iceland is also a country that sees an increasing number of tourists every year. To an island where just over 400,000 people live. inhabitants. Up to about 2 million tourists come in summer.
Everything is special here. And this is what I will try to show you.
